GRAMS would like to thank everyone who braved the cold and wet weather to come and celebrate the Opening of NAIDOC in Geraldton.
Local Yamatji Man Johnny Garlett kicked off the event with some traditional dances and got some of the younger ones involved, Red Ochre got everyone on the dance floor with their deadly music followed by rapper Sam Bennell who gave a moving performance, then we ended the day with the Karloo Rockers.
Thank you to everyone who set up a stall at the markets and to the cooks who kept everyone fed and happy.
