Tackling Indigenous Smoking Educator
Location: Geraldton
The Geraldton Regional Aboriginal Medical Service is seeking to fill the position of Tackling Indigenous Smoking Officer on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday.
This role will require the ability to show initiative in working collaboratively with government and non-government agencies and within the local community. The role also includes traveling out of town on occasions, and occasionally working outside of normal clinic hours, there is support provided by a team of workers, of which include Tackling Indigenous Smoking Coordinator and other Tackling Indigenous , General Practitioners, Aboriginal Health Practitioners/ Workers, Nurses and Receptionists.
Experience working with the Indigenous community is desirable.
