Carnarvon parents and children enjoyed a beach day last week on Wednesday 12 April at Carnarvon’s Fascine as part of the Shire of Carnarvon’s 2-week school holiday program.
GRAMS along with PCYC, Carnarvon Police, Shire of Carnarvon and Ngala put on a number of activities for young Carnarvon community members to participate in including kayaking, beach volleyball and fishing.
Thomas Cameron (Aboriginal Liaison Officer), and Kelly Capewell (Tackling Indigenous Smoking Officer) from the GRAMS Gascoyne Outreach Services provided their support by helping with the BBQ. A big thank you to Kelly for bringing along enough food and fruits to ensure we have plenty for our community members and their children.
Thomas had a go at doing DJ with music supplied by Keno to entertain our audiences.
