On Thursday 9 March GRAMS held a Kidney Health Day at the Geraldton clinic for World Kidney Day. We had the Midwest Regional Renal Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) team helping us highlight the importance of taking care of your kidneys and getting them checked regularly by a doctor.
People who visited the display were able to fill out a survey to go into the draw to win a food hamper.
The GRAMS clinical staff also attended a one-hour workshop to upskill about the importance of kidney health and screening clients. Early diagnosis and good management of kidney disease can prevent it from worsening and reduce the risk of kidney failure.
Thank you so much to the Midwest Regional Renal CKD team for providing a great display with lots of helpful information.
