Angie Park from GRAMS recently became the Justice of the Peace in Geraldton.
Angie said she wanted to become a Justice of the Peace so she could help the clients at GRAMS and the community as a whole.
“I wanted to give back to the community and working as a social worker at GRAMS and a Justice of the Peace, I can provide a one-stop-shop for people to complete their paperwork,” said Angie.
To become a Justice of the Peace, Angie had to go through a number of stages from being put forward by a State Member of Parliament, providing character references and successfully completing a certificate through TAFE.
Angie is now able to provide services as the local Justice of the Peace including:
“One of my main goals is to make things easier for people coming to GRAMS and providing accessible services that will benefit the community,” said Angie.
Congratulations Angie, we know you’ll do an excellent job serving our community as the new Justice of the Peace.
